Field Studio Architects Field Studio is a small architectural practice based in South Devon. Our mission is to deliver high quality, modern and sustainable design to the widest possible market. In our view, too often architecture is seen as a luxury beyond the reach of ordinary people. Field Studio is owned and operated by James Risebero (BaHons Barch ARB). James has worked previously in some of the UK's most prestigious firms including Foster and Partners and pioneers of environmental design, Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios.

In Devon James spent several years working for Gillespie Yunnie Architects on a range of projects, many involving the re-use of historically significant and listed buildings. You can find out more about James' background here. James set up Field Studio in 2013 in order to focus on the design and construction of a new house for himself and his family on a rural site outside Totnes.
