Vellow Wood Architecture
Home is the place where life takes root: where relationships, memories, and personalities are formed. Architects help a house become a home, or a street become a community, when they thoughtfully create spaces that nurture these things. Glasgow's Dennistoun has seen significant regeneration during recent years but maintains a strong architectural character through its distinctively Glaswegian tenement grid.

Vellow Wood is a RIAS Chartered and ARB registered architectural practice, based in Glasgow. We partner with Self-builders and Property Developers to create individual spaces to call home. Like many people in the UK, we have been working from home this month, which has meant more time in our houses than any season before.

Vellow Wood was founded by Philip in 2011, as an expression of these convictions and as a vehicle for raising the UK standard.
The name was inspired by his own sense of rootedness, personal aesthetic, and connection to a family home of the same name in Somerset.
The practice now works with individual home owners and larger scale developers alike, designing new homes and exploring new models for better housing and more effective communities.
