Architectural Conservation
We had the front elevation to our property repointed and wanted to ensure we used people who would use the correct materials. I was able to leave the guys to it and they worked diligently while I was at work and I returned each evening to huge progress. They tidied up each evening before they left and we now have a watertight frontage which looks great.

We will definitely be getting Gavin and his team back to do other jobs around the house. Architectural Conservation is an established firm of stonemasons based in Livingston. Our team have all attended specialist Lime Mortar Courses that means they've developed a passion for organic lime pointing and the impact it has on allowing stone to breath and maintain structural integrity.

We have invested in a state-of-the-art DOFF Integra Cleaning System so that we are able to clean sandstone to a very high standard, in a gentle way, and causing minimum distress to the stone.
The DOFF system removes bacterial growth, lichen, moss, bird guano and graffiti using low pressure and high temperature steam.
The stone surface doesn't get saturated with water and dries in minutes so the whole process is kind to stone with outstanding results.
We used the DOFF Integra to clean the Linlithgow Cross Well with excellent results.
Our stone mason team are trained to a very high standard when it comes to carving intricate stonework.
We use traditional tools such as wooden Mallets and Chisels before introducing power tools which allows for more intricate carving.
