Our architectural studio is based in Manchester and set up in 2009 by founder, chartered architect Sonia Pabla-Thomas. Our architectural practice is based in Didsbury, serving the surrounding areas in South Manchester and Cheshire. Space Architecture and Planning consists of a team of highly creative architects, taking on a whole range of projects, both large and small.

No matter the size of the project, you still get the same level of commitment from our team of architects from start to finish. Our aim is to create socially, economically and environmentally friendly projects that can be enjoyed by many for years to come. From the initial consultation, architectural drawings and quote through to aftercare, our team of expert architects will support you all the way and be happy to help assist you along the way.

Conversion of an existing basement within a 4 storey dwelling.
Our proposal includes moving the kitchen to the lower level and connecting the living room visually by introducing a cut out or mezzanine between the two floors.
This results in split level access to the garden areas and privacy within the sunken terrace.
The Green School campus has been designed from the most organic materials available, in order to function sustainably, and provided students with a shelter nestled among nature where they can have a safe and comfortable environment to learn and focus.
Curved shapes are predominant in the architecture to create an atmosphere that support alternative thinking.
Our learning pods and combined areas are built with the lightest touches and surrounded by native plants in what is an inspirational environment for students to think openly and creatively, while enjoying al aspects of the exquisite outdoor setting on our doorstep.
