All practising members are obliged to keep themselves informed of current practises and developments appropriate to the type and level of responsibilities, and to comply with the Institute's guidelines on continuing professional development (CPD).
All members who provide services direct to a client must obtain and maintain adequate professional indemnity insurance.
All members must adhere to a Code of Conduct which requires the proper and ethical conduct of business, and that disciplinary procedures for infringements of the Code are in place.

Rex took the time to work closely with us, and revised his first plans following our input whilst carefully explaining what was possible and what is not within the constraints of Building Control and our budget.
Rex understands the local area very well and has therefore given invaluable advice on design considerations that we couldn't have known or anticipated otherwise.
We have ended up with very clear plans for a unique loft conversion that has now been awarded planning permission.
I also had the benefit of help in finding a selection trustworthy companies to carry out the work, and can feel confident of a great addition to our home thanks to Rex.
