Tim MacKenzie

Tim has been part of MP Architects since 2021, initially as a freelance designer while studying at university. After completing his Masters Degree, he joined the team full-time. Tim worked and trained with Michael, and is now a fully qualified architect, having earned his RIBA chartership and ARB registration.
Tim previously worked on large commercial projects in London, but shifted his focus to residential design to apply his skills to smaller space programming. With a passion for problem-solving, Tim likes the challenge of creating high-quality designs while dealing with potential planning constraints and providing value for money.

Josh graduated from the University of Reading in July 2024 and joined MP Architects the following September. He has demonstrated a willingness to learn and grow by engaging with various tasks, including surveys, designs, planning, and building regulations.
Josh has a strong interest in architectural technology and is dedicated to improving clients' daily lives through thoughtful spatial design. He is especially enjoying his work in the residential sector, where he can work closely with clients to understand their needs better.

Michael has handled two projects for us - a kitchen extension, and some quite extensive changes to outbuildings to accommodate solar panels. He was very responsive - in particular in helping sort surprises that seem often to arise in building projects. He handled the planning processes, building regulation compliance, etc well. We would certainly recommend him for similar work.

Michael Pagliaroli designed a large two storey extension for our family homewhich we absolutely love. He drew up a range of plans for us to chose from and then was very accommodating, paying great attention to detail, on the final plan.
Michael was also very knowledgeable of the process of submitting planning to West Berkshire and he was very quick to respond to any queries throughout this period.
I would not hesitate to recommend Michael; he is very dedicated to his work and he is a lovely, professional and helpful person to work with.

We approached Michael and his team to submit a retrospective building application for a patio in our garden. Michael gave a competitive quote and was super responsive and helpful throughout the process despite the job being small. Thanks to Michael`s meticulous work WB council approved the application straight away without recommendations.

We approached Michael as his website indicated he included relatively small extensions as part of his architectural practice. After meeting him when we outlined our requirements he subsequently produced four variations where we chose the one which we felt most closely met our expectations together with one or two aspects from the other suggestions. Michael approached three builders he had worked with previously for quotations, and the one we chose did an excellent build and during the work they did not have to contact Michael for any clarifications. Michael did a good job for us in understanding our situation as an elderly couple, and we were very happy with his approach and professionalism and have no hesitation in recommending him.
