MBLA Architects + Urbanists
Ian Beaumont and Andy Avery, the former directors of MBLA Architects + Urbanists, have now joined Buttress Architects with key members of the MBLA team. We have been discussing the possibility of a joint future for some time, bringing the strength of the two practices together. Buttress are in the country's top 100 practices (AJ100), and have a wide and varied national portfolio of work.

They work to the same core values as MBLA in believing that the creation of good architecture should be enjoyable, rewarding and inspiring, and do so by retaining relationships and design quality at the heart of their offer. You are therefore assured of our ongoing commitment, and that of our wider team, who believe in delivering the service that they would choose to receive themselves; personal and professional, delivered by friendly, experienced and talented staff.

Buttress are well known for their blend of new design and historic buildings expertise and have particular strengths in education, commercial, major leisure attractions and heritage projects.
