Designed with earthy stone and teak wood textures this modern luxury tropical villa reflects the gentle and rooted nature of our Earth. This recently completed boutique masterplan project in Siolim, Goa, consists of three unique villas that flow with the landscape. Multiple award-winning workplace interiors that showcases the future of working environments by creating fuzzy spaces.

Designed as a part of a trilogy of houses within the Sioul masterplan, the 'Sun House' embeds the fiery nature of sun emphasizing it through its exposed brick walls and sun screens. Designed as a training and admin facility, the new 10,000sqft office block adds a perforated, green and tectonic mountain like volume in this mundane and repetitive industrial part of the city.

This louvered faade has a 'field' like gradient creating interesting spatial experiences as well as shade and screening.

SAV is an international architecture, interior and landscape design studio producing highly original and intra-disciplinary work.
We see our studio as a platform to explore multiple curiosities between places, stories and cultures, as well as with systems, structures and spaces.
Combining the aesthetic and materiality, advanced technology with craftsmanship and performance with pragmatism we work across scales and contexts to create designs that are evocative and extraordinary.
Our work has grown across different continents and involves a wide range of projects from high-rises and facades to residential and mixed use masterplans from hotels and resorts to unique private houses.
Founded in 2011, SAV is led by partners Amita Kulkarni and Vikrant Tike, both studied and taught at the AA School in London.
Having lived and worked in London for ten years, both partners relocated to Goa in 2015 and presently work between Goa and London.
Amita Kulkarni is the co-founder and Principal Architect at SAV.
She completed her Masters in Architecture and Urbanism at the AA School of Architecture, London in 2005 after being qualified as an architect in Mumbai in 2003.
She is a Registered Architect with the Council of Architecture, India and is a qualified RIBA Part III.
We believe in having a small, closely knit and efficient team for every project.
We have been fortunate to have a talented, dedicated and diverse team in both of our UK and India studios.
Since the studio takes part in different academic workshops and teaching we have been able to work and collaborate with people from different schools, who have multiple Interests, culturally varied and focused on delivering unique and sophisticated outcomes.
Following is the list of people so far that we have worked and collaborated with us at SAV.
We practice 'Design as Process 'wherein we utilse and explore all the different methods and skills to make a project.
As a studio we believe in integrating traditional making and crafts with innovative, prefab and modern technologies that is both playful as well as sensitive.
Storytelling plays an important part of the design which then translates into a narrative of structure, space and construction.
We feel the procees of experiencing architecture has parallels to how we imagine them as stories; as scernarios unfolding physically.
