Bondstones
Our team continue to take the threat seriously despite 'easing' measures. As you can imagine, we are now quite used to working in the 'new normal' and indeed our team have been doing so for some time - however, some external circumstances remain outside of our control and will inevitably continue to impact business generally for the foreseeable future.

We now have well established systems in place allowing us to carry on with limited impact even when self isolating and irrespective of where our team are located. We will continue to facilitate meetings remotely with clients if required (either by phone, semaphore or video chat) and will aim to accommodate clients in any way we can. Site surveys and any work which requires limited contact, especially that which is undertaken outdoors, will proceed normally.

In the meantime. We are here to help. Bondstones are specialists in all aspects of rural planning and design; we generally focus our attention on 'change of use' and rural development projects.
Services
Adam joined Bondstones in early 2020 to lead delivery of some of our more complex / architecture led development projects - and particularly in the sensitive delivery of traditional barn conversions, listed buildings and change of use planning.
Adam has extensive experience in a wide variety of rural planning and building projects including (but not limited to) Class Q barn conversions and complicated listed building renovations and heritage building alterations.
Adam provides both Architectural and Planning Services to our clients across the South West (particularly in the Somerset West & Taunton, Mid-Devon, North Devon and Torridge Council areas) - as well as managing projects on site from receipt of consents through to final completion and delivery.
Bondstones is a West Country based professional practice comprising specialist property advisers, planning and architectural consultants.
Established in 2011, we continue to work with a wide variety of private and commercial clients across a wide range of bespoke projects throughout the Southern UK.
Unlike many firms operating in our specialist field we offer an integrated suite of combined services to provide a true 'one stop shop'.
Our perspective is firmly focused on our clients requirements - a position based upon empathy and direct, personal experience.
The 1990 Town & Country Planning Act is at the legislative heart of all development in the UK.
Almost no development or change of use of land can occur without first ensuring compliance with this legislation.
The implications of planning procedure can be highly controversial and incredibly complex - it is therefore important that proper advice is sought before engaging in any building or development work.
Bondstones' is an independent, unbiased and objective team; dedicated (almost entirely) to the 'Country' element of Town & Country Planning legislation.
Bondstones are extremely proud to be 'Regulated by the RICS' - this means we are a professionally qualified and regulated practice - bound by a code of conduct, strict rules and regulations.
This means that we will only undertake work which is directly within our field(s) of expertise and that we are also fully insured (both Professional Indemnity and Public / Employers Liability).
We are passionate about architecture and the countryside, its' sustainable future and the protection / re-use of rural buildings: as such we offer our professional expertise to satisfy a range of rural property issues, including (but not limited to): Town & Country Planning (Planning Consultancy) and Architectural Design / Building Design (Architecture).
Bondstones are Chartered Surveyors (regulated by RICS).
However we also employ two RIBA architects to deliver both design and project management services.
We focus on providing high quality 'buildable' architecture designed to meet our clients needs - rather than a designer's over inflated ego!
While the firm is not a traditional 'Architects Practice' per se (a protected title) our hugely talented architectural services team comprises Chartered Architects, Consultant Architectural Technologists, Surveyors and specialist Architectural Consultants - with this range of ability and experience we provide a suite of services akin to those offered by any 'traditional' architects' practices - but with one major difference: We offer a far broader range of professional services under one roof - with almost every facet of architecture and planning covered within a single dedicated practice.
