John Solomon Design Limited was established in 1993 and in the past 25 years our projects have included the interior architecture for several landmark buildings in the City of London, many exceptional homes in London and the counties, as well as the restoration of important historic listed buildings. With a grounding in traditional detailing we are as happy working on a period property as a contemporary apartment.We oversee all aspects of our projects, employing specialist consultants such as structural engineers or M&E consultants, as required. We provide a turnkey design package from initial concepts through to detailed drawings and specifications, tendering and overseeing contractual work, to the procurement & final placement of furniture.
All production drawings are developed in CAD, which provides a fast and efficient way of communicating with the entire team to coordinate all the architectural elements, from structural, mechanical and electrical engineering through to fixtures, fittings, furniture and placement of artwork.

Everything is in the detail, and we like to think we assess everything, starting with floor plans & furniture layouts to the smallest detail. We pay particular attention to the lighting design for each space as this is of such importance in creating the twilight ambience.
