Services
Based in Netley Abbey between Hamble and Southampton, Carolyn Lowe (Carrie) set up Hampshire Architect in 2010.
Carrie is an ARB REGISTERED AND RIBA CHARTERED ARCHITECT, who is experienced and skilled at solving even the most challenging home improvement conundrums.
Carrie's service is different: she designs and sketches right there with you at the property, exploring options and developing stunning yet practical solutions, like you see on the television.
All ARB registered architects have undertaken a minimum of seven years training and all RIBA Chartered architects are fully insured and are required to undertake continual professional development to stay up to date with construction.
Hampshire Architect's Carolyn Lowe (Carrie) starts every project with a commitment-free design and budget consultation, during which you can explore ideas, costs, planning and building regulations requirements.
This is just 95 per hour and Carrie can even prepare sketch designs with you at the property, to get your project flying (please scroll down for examples).
Carrie specialises in every aspect of home design and is skilled at getting the best from any home improvement project.
She also excels at working with home-owners and making the design process clear and understandable.
Choosing an ARB (Architects Registration Board) Registered and RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) Chartered Architect like Hampshire Architect gives you peace of mind that your designer is qualified, registered, insured and regulated by a strict code of conduct.
The title of 'Architect' is protected by law; other designers often get around this by using the word 'architectural' and are not generally qualified or regulated to the same degree, particularly with regard to design.
Often they lack the skills or experience to advise and design with you on the spot.
